My Photography Content (Stolen from my Flickr Page)

Just a geek with a camera.

I started in photography when I was 13. I had my father’s Pentax 35mm SLR and a 50mm lens. That camera made me aware of what it was like to take pictures and have the skill to do it well (Which I lacked at the time and I am still working on). Upon reaching high school, I joined the year book staff to take pictures. By the end of my junior year, I had already taken and developed thousands of photos. I was hooked.

When I started college, I stopped. Film was expensive, and development cost even more. It was not until 2001 and the adoption of my first digital camera that I got back into photography.

Today, I take my camera with me everywhere. I can’t remember everything, so the camera has become my means of reflection.

For those who are interested, here is the obligatory camera gear list.
